Meet the Provider: Tricia Kelly

Tricia Kelly

Delivering results for more than 16 years at Billings Plastic Surgery and Premier Aesthetics

Tricia Kelly’s love of delivering results to clients began more than 16 years ago in the operating room at Billings Plastic Surgery. Since then, Tricia’s moved out of the OR and into her own provider room at Premier Aesthetics where she’s spent the last seven years helping her clients look and feel better through the use of injectables.

When Tricia Kelly’s not at Premier, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Read on for a Q & A with Tricia Kelly.

What services do you provide at Premier Aesthetics?

I do mostly injectables — botox, fillers, and threads. I also provide laser, HALO, BBL, and deep resurfacing services.

What are some of the benefits of HALO laser treatment?

HALO is probably one of our top treatments that we do. It’s extremely popular. It’s a laser treatment for facial rejuvenation. It’s main purpose is to improve pigment, skin texture, tone, and pore size, with a reasonable downtime.

You can be very focal with HALO and we’ve come up with a treatment that’s very specific for eyes. Eyes are kind of one of those things that a lot of patients come in and are concerned with. The eye tends to age the quickest in relation to the rest of our face. The skin is the thinnest there, so it has the ability to age a little bit quicker. So being able to do treatments that can help tighten, smooth, and improve texture and tone around the eye is obviously good. HALO Eyes is a very specific treatment that we have come up with to improve all of that — smoothness, texture, and tightening.

Who would be a good candidate for HALO laser treatments?

I would say just about anyone can have a HALO treatment. Everyone has a little something going on that they might want to clean up, just from living life and having fun, but also just the aging process as well.

What is the healing process like after a HALO laser treatment?

That can be a little varied. It depends on the level of HALO treatment that we give per patient. We customize our treatments to what the patients’ needs are, so that can range from anywhere between five to seven days with some redness and swelling. HALO also develops what we call MENDs (Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris). It’s these kind of little dark coffee ground spots that develop with HALO, which do peel, and that process takes around four to five days to complete.

Tell us about your medical background and how you arrived here at Premier?

I’ve been a nurse for over 20 years, which is unbelievable to me. I’ve been in the OR for most of my nursing career and most of my nursing career has been with Billings Plastic Surgery. I’ve been with them for 16 years and I’m very proud of that. About seven years ago I branched off from the surgical arena and started launching the aesthetic part of our practice.

What is your favorite part of what you do?

I love making people feel a little bit better about themselves. People come here for various reasons, and just being able to give someone a little bit more confidence, a little bit bigger stride in their step, or preparing them for an event to feel more confident is probably what I love most. I love delivering results that work and just the overall patient satisfaction that we get with the aesthetic treatments that we deliver.

What is something people might be surprised to hear about HALO laser treatments?

The biggest thing is results. HALO has the ability to give some really awesome results. If you can deliver results with a reasonable downtime and a reasonable comfort level while giving that treatment, you’ve got a winner of an aesthetic treatment, bar none.

What makes HALO laser treatments unique to Premier Aesthetics and why do we offer it?

We are a diamond-level provider, which is a really big thing. We do a lot of HALO, so we’re really proud of that distinguished title. We have a lot of experience with it and can really fine tune our laser to deliver the best results for our patients.

How often should Halo laser treatments be repeated?

I tell all of our patients once a year. Cleaning up a year of living your life and always stimulating collagen is the name of the game in the anti-aging world, so once a year is what we recommend for all of our patients to consider coming back to re-treat.
