Dana Fink is a master injector and has received extensive training in dermal fillers and Botox injections. She is also a certified Scion Laser Technician and is highly competent in facial anatomy, which helps her excel in PDO Thread treatments. When Dana isn’t helping her clients look and feel their best at Premier Aesthetics, she enjoys advancing her skills and techniques and spending time with her family.

What services do you provide at Premier Aesthetics?

I do fillers, Botox, threads, and microneedling. I do all the services here at Premier Aesthetics that we offer, except for some facials and chemical peels. Our estheticians do those.

Why do you love what you do?

I love what I do here because I love helping people feel good about themselves — if people have skin concerns, or, you know, aging is never fun for anyone. Just giving people back their mojo and helping them feel good about themselves is just really rewarding for me.

What is your favorite treatment that you offer?

My favorite treatment is filler. It’s instantaneous gratification. I really feel like it’s an art form, and if I do my job well, people look great, but nobody knows that they had anything done.

Tell us about your medical background and how you arrived here at Premier.

I graduated from PA school 20-plus years ago and I started in dermatology. I worked with Dr. Hicks and Dr. Hawk. They were great, great mentors, and then I worked as an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) for 13 years and I did a surgery with those doctors and first assisted them in surgery, so I learned a lot of great anatomy doing that.

And then I went back to dermatology, so now I’m doing dermatology and aesthetics and I’ve been doing aesthetics for a good 15 years.

Are you able to customize treatments for your patients?

My favorite thing to do is actually to customize treatments, because I feel like I can treat certain lesions that they may or may not know that can be treated. So we can do a little touch up here, a little thing there, and then cut, do their filler that they came in for, do their Botox that they came in for, and then they’ve always had this red spot on their nose that they didn’t know that I could treat… I always kind of say, “Oh, what about that spot? Can we just get that for you today?” And so it makes it really fun. When we do lasers, I like to customize. You’ve got these chronic lesions on your face? I know if we do a little liquid nitrogen on those before the laser we can really even get those spots off that much better. So your end result is that much better, too.

When you’re not providing excellent care to Premier’s patients, how do you spend your free time?

I have two boys, so I’m definitely a baseball mom and football mom — sometimes a basketball mom, so that’s really fun to follow my boys. I love the water, so I love to wake surf and I love to ski in the wintertime and I love to travel. All of those things are fun.
